JAMES COE
James Coe’s work reflects his exploration of imaginative, multi-layered colours and intentional textural effects. His work eludes to direct references of a subject, however, emphasising figurative entropy to evoke sensation and emotion. With an inventive and vibrant palette, Coe seeks to connect deeply with viewers, using abstract mark-making techniques within the work to shift focus away from detail. This approach invites a more profound understanding of typically overlooked aspects of everyday life, turning the ordinary into something dynamic and meaningful.
